This Disclaimer applies to californiaautohaus.com (the “Website”), operated by California Autohaus, Inc. (“California Autohaus,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). Please read it together with our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
1. General information only
Articles, guides, symptoms, maintenance tips, and other content on the Website are general information about European vehicles. They are not a diagnosis or repair recommendation for your specific vehicle. Every vehicle’s condition is different, and only an in-person inspection can determine what your vehicle needs. Do not rely on Website content alone to decide whether a vehicle is safe to drive.
2. Do-it-yourself work
If you choose to inspect or work on your own vehicle, you do so at your own risk. Vehicle repair can involve serious hazards, including high voltage, fuel, lifting equipment, and hot or moving parts. Always follow the manufacturer’s procedures and safety precautions, or have the work done by a qualified technician.
3. Prices, specials, and availability
Prices, specials, and service descriptions on the Website are general and may change without notice. They are not a quote for your vehicle. Repair work is performed only under a written estimate and with your authorization at our shop, and that written estimate, repair order, and invoice govern the work and any warranty.
4. Independent repair shop
California Autohaus is an independent repair shop. We are not affiliated with, authorized by, or endorsed by BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Audi, Volkswagen, Porsche, Land Rover, Jaguar, MINI, Volvo, or any other vehicle manufacturer. Manufacturer names are used only to identify the vehicles we service.
5. Reviews and testimonials
Reviews and testimonials on the Website reflect the individual experiences and opinions of our customers. They may not be typical, and your experience may differ. The people who provided them were not compensated for their reviews and are not employed by California Autohaus. Reviews shown from third-party platforms, such as Google, are the reviewers’ own words. We are not responsible for opinions expressed in them.
6. Third-party links and tools
The Website links to or includes third-party websites and tools, such as maps, review sites, financing providers, and our online booking tool. We do not control and are not responsible for their content, accuracy, or availability.
7. Changes
We may update this Disclaimer at any time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date.
